I am Rachael Sanders.
I am a professional creative who recently opened up a small Apothecary Shop in Hemphill, Texas. I first started my business while living a nomadic lifestyle in a tiny camper with my 4 dogs! After my father passed away I decided to put my roots down in this quaint little town, where I had been living and caring for him over the last year. On my Youtube channel I share my lifestyle and share messages about unbecoming all that we've been taught we should be so we can come into alignment with our truest selves. I recently gave up my professional career in order to pursue my dream of making a living being creative. I am at my best when I am free to be me and put my heart into a project.
I became interested in soap and lotion making around 6 years ago when I realized how many unnecessary chemicals were added to our skincare products. I've always been into natural holistic living, so creating my own skincare products allowed me to have more control of what my skin was exposed to.
I have questions. A LOT of them. I am always asking the "why" behind the "what". I want the story behind things because I enjoy digging deep. How was soap made in old times? How did people used to wash their hair in ancient days? What did people eat before processed foods? Where does our trash go? These type of questions have lead me down a path to uncover truths about what we consume. I have a deep love for nature, our planet and spirituality. I feel that it is all connected. I have set my heart to live in harmony with nature and I hope to make a social and environmental impact through my brand..
